Topic Aim - learn to assess the condition of a patient with sepsis and septic shock and prescribe initial treatment.
You will learn:
- to assess the condition of a patient with suspected sepsis and septic shock consistently,
- 5 main initial resuscitation goals (DAIVA criteria) and complete them within 1 hour when sepsis is suspected,
- to calculate the dose of vasopressor based on the patient's body weight and titrate it according to the hemodynamic response,
- to calculate SOFA score.
